Baumeister lives in Denver and runs Meep Records (a handmade lathe-cut boutique record label), while Mugglestone moved to Berlin to pursue his dream of acting. Though collaborations over the years have been scarce, their love of sharing new musical gems has kept them together. This record wavers between absurdist high life, snarky country, and confessional dream sequences. Dubbed "a break-up record", The Trappings is two Denver boys trying to figure out what it means to love and live in the Post-Post Cold War era.
